Walk in Faith celebrates Superbowl weekend by sitting down with one of football?s most inspiring heroes, Devon Still. Devon was a defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, and New York Jets until his retirement in 2017. In 2014, in the midst of a promising career, Devon?s world was rocked when his young daughter, Leah, was diagnosed with a stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Devon spent three weeks in the hospital, sleeping next to Leah, taking a hiatus from football. During that time, he was cut from the Bengals but then offered a place on the practice squad in order to help pay for his daughter?s treatments. The Bengals also allowed for his jersey to be sold in order to raise awareness for research. The jersey sales neared $1 million. The story of his devotion to his daughter and his unwavering faith spoke volumes through the NFL and the world, causing many other organizations to also donate to research efforts. In 2015, Leah was proclaimed cancer free and father and daughter won the Jimmy V award for their perseverance in the face of cancer at the Espy?s the same year. Today, Devon talks with Craig about his daughter?s battle and recovery, detailed in his upcoming book Still in the Game and his efforts to help combat pediatric cancer through the StillStrong Foundation, which provides financial assistance to parents of pediatric cancer patients.

Theodore Hesburgh, C.S.C, the longtime president of the University of Notre Dame and one of the most influential figures in the history of the Catholic Church in the United States. Fr. Hesburgh was also an advisor to presidents and Popes. In 1964, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and in the same year, he delivered a speech at Dr. Martin Luther King?s rally in Chicago.
